      On October 15th, the production ceremony of Suqian Era Energy Storage Water System Organic Liquid Flow Battery products was held at Suqian Era Energy Storage Technology Company, Xinhua News Agency. In recent years, the Suqian era has seen rapid development in energy storage, building core competitiveness, and promoting the industrialization of water-based organic flow batteries.

      Zhong Xiaobing, Vice Mayor of Suqian City, Wang Shoubing, Vice Chairman of the Suqian Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Yin Qiguo, Secretary of the Suyu District Committee and Secretary of the Suqian High tech Zone Party Working Committee, Xu Tongwen, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the University of Science and Technology of China, Zhu Junpeng, President of the Jiangsu Energy Storage Industry Association, and representatives of relevant enterprises attended the event.

      Suqian Era Energy Storage has collaborated with multiple domestic and international research teams, including China University of Science and Technology, Jiaotong University, and Changzhou University, to jointly develop water-based organic flow batteries and their key materials. They have overcome key technical challenges such as material preparation, battery assembly, and testing, and have mastered multiple core technologies of water-based organic flow batteries.

      In his speech, Zhong Xiaobing stated that as a strategic emerging industry, Suqian attaches great importance to the development of the new energy industry, especially the energy storage industry. It has also included the new energy industry in the six leading industries that the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government focus on cultivating and the three billion dollar level industries that have been fully tackled. Recently, the "Several Policy Measures to Support the Development of New Energy Storage Industry" has been specially introduced to further optimize services, strengthen guarantees, and strive to build Suqian into an industrial base with certain influence and visibility in the domestic energy storage industry.

  Xu Tongwen stated in his speech that since the establishment of Suqian Era Energy Storage, his team has established a formal cooperative relationship with Era Energy Storage. In more than two years, the company has broken through the large-scale synthesis technology of ion exchange resins and built a large-scale production line for water-based organic liquid flow battery separators. In the future, we will continue to strengthen the research and development of ion exchange membranes in the field of new energy, transforming the "key variable" of technological innovation into the "maximum increment" of high-quality development.

      Suqian Era Energy Storage Chairman Xiang Zhanbo introduced that the company has achieved a full industrial chain layout, and core raw materials such as electrolyte, ion exchange membrane, bipolar plate, and sealing membrane have been put into production in July this year. The product quality is stable and the performance is excellent. It is expected to achieve a production capacity of 500MWh of water-based organic liquid flow batteries by 2024, The company's water system organic liquid flow battery technology has reached a leading level, with the DC side energy efficiency of the stack reaching over 85%, and the comprehensive energy efficiency of the battery reaching over 70%. The company is willing to cooperate with various enterprises to jointly promote the national energy transformation, build a new power system, and establish a new low-carbon society.

      Subsequently, in the presence of all guests, the Suqian Era energy storage water system organic liquid flow battery product was officially unveiled, marking that the technology route has entered the stage of large-scale production.

      It is understood that Suqian era energy storage is developing core material components such as electrolytes, ion exchange membranes, and stacks for the next generation of aqueous organic flow batteries. It is expected to achieve breakthroughs in single molecule multi electron transfer technology, achieve electrolyte stability of 50000 cycles, and prepare AEM membranes with higher ion exchange capacity. These will further improve battery energy density and efficiency, reduce battery costs, and extend battery service life.
